The story
Station Inn opened in 1974 near Centennial Park and Vanderbilt University. Its seven founders formed the original house band. The club moved to 402 12th Avenue South in 1978, and J.T. Gray bought it in March 1981. It continues to host bluegrass, classic country, Americana and roots music.
