The story
Secondhand Ranch opened on December 6, 2025, in Philadelphia's Fishtown neighborhood. Founder Josh Sampson combined a country bar with secondhand clothing and vintage retail, including racks managed by independent vendors.
The venue occupies the former Kensington National Bank at Frankford and Girard Avenues. Designed by Frank Furness, the bank opened in 1878. The original vault remains inside the bar. The building's age is separate from the Ranch's 2025 founding.
The Ranch hosts live country and roots music, including touring bands and Philadelphia performers, alongside country line dancing.
